What our Producers have to say

We value all of our producer partners’ feedback. Here are just a few who have discovered the advantages of working with us.

“Working with Collectiv Food is very exciting because it gives us the opportunity to know where our products end up. It’s great to be able to say that our products are served at vibrant London restaurants - it makes the job worthwhile. In addition we know that payment is in the bank, and for that we would go the extra mile to work with you.”

“Collectiv Food is very fair on price, we’ve been able to have a discussion rather than stopping at “this is the price or leave”. To wrap up into one sentence, we have a fairer relationship.”

“Collectiv Food’s concept is different. It’s a modern concept, unlike the traditional wholesale foodservice industry. They are more driven by quality than by volume.”

“You simplify the logistics and that is a real positive. Food supply and distribution are the hardest, and most costly, bit of working in a wholesale business - but you make it easy. And to be honest, the fact that you pay us upfront in an added bonus, there are not many suppliers that do that.”

Quality Criteria

We are food lovers and believe in good food, grown with pride by caring quality producers and without the compromises associated with mass production.

This means that all the producers and food suppliers on our platform must agree to the following criteria:

  • That you produce, rear or grow your own products, or you add-value to products that are from other independent producers or fisheries.

  • That you are not solely a wholesaler or distributor.

  • That you demonstrate a desire to produce quality products (often with external validation and certification such as Red Tractor, Soil Association and LEAF).

  • That you limit the use chemicals preservatives, artificial flavourings, colourings or antibiotics, synthetic growth hormones or GM products (and there should be demonstrable efforts to actively reduce such products).

If you fit these criteria we’d love to welcome on board. Take a look at our FAQ for Producers to learn more.
